How to order numbered ear tags

Welcome an easy step-by-step guide designed to help you navigate the new CCK website and place your order for Numbered Ear Tags.

There are two options to begin your order for Numbered Tags.

If you already know the tag you are looking for, shop through your chosen tag manufacturer. 

There two ways to find your manufacturer. The first method is to select "Manufacturers" from the dropdown menu on the Home Screen. 

From the Home Screen, choose Manufacturers

Then the manufacturer of your choice   

If you do not know the tag you want to use, shop through the Print Options menu to see all manufacturers for Numbered tags. 

When the Print Option Menu opens, choose Numbered Ear Tags Option to browse all numbered ear tags by Manufacturer.

All the Ear Tags that can be Numbered appear for you to browse through.

For this tutorial we will chose the Y-Tex Large Ear Tag.

With this option chosen we are directed to the Y-Tex Large Ear Tag page, which displays all available options for that specific ear tag.

In this tutorial, we will choose the Y-Tex Large Numbered 1 Side tag. As illustrated in the diagram below, there are three steps to make this selection: first, select "Numbered," then choose "Numbered 1 Side," and finally click on "Next."

The next screen will give several options for Y-Tex Large Numbered Tags. 

For this tutorial we will choose the Standard Tag which opens up 4 options to choose from- Numbered tags in Bag of 25, Bag of 100, a single tag with button, and a female tag only.

If option for a Bag of Numbered Tags is chosen, then you choose the requested numbers.

Bags of 25 come in sequences of the following; 1 to 25, 26 to 50, 51 to 75, 76 to 100, 101 to 125, 126 to 150, 151 to 175, 176 to 200.

Bags of 100 come in sequences of 1 to 100, 101 to 200.

If option for a Single Numbered Tags is chosen, then you will provide your requested numbers by following the Inquiry Statements in Gold Font path and answer questions.

There are three things requested. 

First how will you Input your Numbers. Will you upload a file with your spreadsheet of numbers or manually input your numbers.

To upload a file with your spreadsheet of numbers - select Upload File then the upload window opens and you can browse for your spreadsheet and add it. The file name appears on screen. 

To manually add your numbers, first select if they are Sequential Numbers- for example 1, 2, 3, 4... or Non-sequential Numbers.

For Sequential Numbers add the start number and end number for up to 3 groups of Numbers. If you have more than 3 groups, please upload a spreadsheet instead.

For Sequential Numbers you can add a character to be included with your numbers such as L100 or 100L. Please answer Prepend- put character before the numbers or Append put the character after the numbers. Then include the character you need that will be added to all numbers.

For Non-Sequential Numbers, first enter the quantity of the numbers you need to enter. You can enter a maximum of 50 non-sequential numbers. If you have more than 50, please upload a file of your numbers.

Based on the total quantity entered, boxes will appear for you to enter each of your requested numbers.

Next enter a number for each of your Numbered Ear Tags into the boxes.

The digits of your numbers can have alphanumeric characters and numbers. For instance digits like K84 or 84M as well as hyphenated digits like 25-01. Some tags will have a limited number of digits that can be printed and that will be noted in the instructions.

Once you have completed inputting your numbers, change the quantity from 1 to the amount of tags you have ordered and hit Add to Cart.

CCK offers several ways to order Numbered Ear Tags.

To recap, choose your manufacturer, Tag Size, then Tag type- Tamperproof, Female Tag Only, or Bag of Tags, then select your color and input the numbers you need and update the quantity to the number of tags ordered.
